Professor Zhaoxia Liang delivers attended the 19th World Congress on Endocrinology & Diabetes

November 22, 2023, Professor Zhaoxia Liang has recently presented an online oral report at the 19th World Congress on Endocrinology & Diabetes, further establishing the global impact of her research. The congress, which brought together experts from around the world, was hosted by the Endocrinology Conference 2023. It is an academic celebration that aimed to discuss and share the latest findings in the field of endocrinology and diabetes.

Professor Liang's presentation, titled "The association between maternal HbA1c and adverse outcomes in gestational diabetes", was highly anticipated by the congress participants. Her study focused on providing evidence for the prevention of adverse outcomes in GDM pregnant women.

Through her insights, Professor Liang emphasized the importance of HbA1c in personalized medicine and its ability to improve pregnancy outcomes. The professor's presentation was well-received by the international audience, who expressed their admiration for her insightful research.

The main conclusion was that HbA1c is significantly associated with macrosomia, preterm birth, PIH, and primary C-section in GDM women, particularly in women with HbA1c≥5.5%.
