WHZJU completes the 2022 English improving course successfully

On the evening of Aug. 9, the four-month English improving course was successfully completed. The course-completion ceremony was hosted by the International Affairs office of WHZJU.

The course mainly focused on the useful medical English, including obstetrics overview, the culture difference in the medical profession, how to take patient’s medical history, showing sympathy and empathy, pain assessment, mental health, medical procedures and treatment. Through various activities, the courses provide the language skills needed for work in the hospital.

Vice president LUO Qiong attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. President LUO highly praised the trainees for their enthusiasm in language learning. She said that the language ability was essential for personal improvement and hospital development. After the ceremony, the staff trainees pulled out of all stops for the presentation.

English learning is a long-term process. The goal of English training courses is to create good English learning atmosphere, and to cultivate international medical talents for the development of the hospital and the upcoming Asian Games. This year, the International Affairs Office made some innovations in language training program. The International Affairs Office of the hospital strives to provide staff opportunities to improve English abilities in all aspects.
