Introduction of Obstetrics Department
The Department of Obstetrics of WHZJU is the national clinical key specialty of the National Health and Family Planning Commission. It is also the key department of the hospital and the key discipline of the Zhejiang Provincial Health Planning Commission. It is the unit leader of the Zhejiang Perinatal Health Care Collaborative Group, the unit of the Zhejiang Provincial Perinatal Branch, Zhejiang Prenatal Diagnostic Center, Zhejiang Fetal Medicine Center, Zhejiang Obstetrics Medical Quality Control Center, Zhejiang Province Prenatal Diagnosis (Screening) Quality Control Center; we are dedicated to providing high-quality medical care for women and babies, especially the clinical treatment and consultation of difficult maternal and fetal cases. We also keep up with international and domestic clinical guidelines and consensus, advocate standardized treatment, and at the same time promote new technologies, new knowledge and new methods to grassroots hospitals. We lead the way in maternity management, clinics, education and scientific research in Zhejiang Province. Over the past five years, we have played an important role in improving the physiological and pathological obstetrics diagnosis and treatment technology in Zhejiang Province and maintaining the consecutive low maternal mortality rate. At present, there are 437 fixed-bed and 73 obstetricians (including 27 senior titles). The annual delivery rate is about 20,000, of which the critical illness is >30%. In recent years, although we have received a large number of critically ill pregnant women, the cesarean section rate is maintained at a low level, and we often provide the assistance in consultation and rescue for patients with dangerous and dangerous diseases from other hospitals making great contributions to improving the quality of obstetrics in Zhejiang Province.

Obstetrics Unit 1
Obstetrics Unit 1 department of Women’s Hospital is dedicated to providing expert LDR integrated (labor-Delivery-Recovery) service and pregnant education for pregnant women and their families, and we enjoys a high reputation in the public hospitals of the whole nation. Currently we have 35 medical staff and 22 LDR rooms which are the largest scale among the provincial public hospitals. There are 10000 outpatients, 800 vaginal deliveries and 560 Cesarean Deliveries annually.

Obstetrics Unit 2
The obstetrics department of Women’s Hospital is a national key clinical specialty and a key discipline in Zhejiang Province. Obstetrics Unit 2, directly led by Prof. Jing He,a well-known expert in obstetrics, is featured with standardized obstetric management. Through efforts over many years, our diagnosis and treatment level has possessed the national leading position.

Obstetrics Unit 3
As one of obstetric units in Women’s Hospital, Obstetric Unit 3, with 42 faculty members and 68 beds, strives to providing high-quality obstetric medical services, including pregnancy and delivery management, obstetric complications (gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, placenta previa, placenta abruption, cervical incompetence and management of recurrence abortion after pregnancy), fetal abnormality.

Obstetrics Unit 4
Obstetrics Unit 4, equipped with 69 beds, is committed to providing obstetric care for pregnant women, and delivering education and conducting scientific research. We have an excellent medical team including 2 chief physicians, 1 associated chief physician, 4 attending physicians, more than 10 resident doctors, and over 30 nurses.

Obstetrics Unit 5
Obstetrics Unit 5 is an important part of general obstetrics, and its many faculty members and researchers are dedicated to doing everything possible to provide women and their families with the most advanced care available anywhere.2. Treatment & ServiceWe provide a wide range of routine obstetric services and are specialized in high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, placenta previa or placenta accreta, intrahepatic cholestas is of pregnancy and a history of preterm birth, pregnancy with gynecological diseases or cervical incompetence.

Obstetrics Unit 6
Established in 2016, Obstetrics Unit 6 is a young obstetric unit featured with exquisite medical technology, strong academic atmosphere, high quality service, elegant environment and strong cohesiveness. Currently, we have 4 obstetrics experts, 10 young doctors and almost 30 medical staff who are full of passion in delivering medical care and in conducting research.

Obstetrics Unit 7
Obstetrics Unit 7 is committed to providing treatment of pregnancy associated with hepatic disease pregnancy associated with hepatic disease in domestic women healthcare institutes. There are 67 beds available in all and the number of annual inpatients exceeds 3800.

Antenatal Assessment Unit
The Women’s Hospital Antenatal Assessment Unit is a division of Obstetrics with a faculty of eleven.
