Department Introduction

Chinese Integrative Medicine Department of Women’s Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University is a nationally recognized Chinese integrative medicine center of diagnosis and treatment of obstetrics and gynecology, and one of the first training centers of national maternity and child health care of traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese integrative medicine. In our department, there are one doctoral supervisor，three Ph.Ds，one Ph.D candidates，and five masters. We are dedicated to offering standardized, scientific and high-quality traditional Chinese medicine intervention and health consultation service for obstetric and gynecologic patients. Diagnosis and treatment of gynecological endocrine diseases such as polycystic ovarian syndrome and infertility-related diseases are the specialties of our department.

Our group is adept at standardized, individualized diagnosis and treatment of common gynecological disorders including polycystic ovary syndrome, menstrual disorders, infertility, chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy, endometriosis, premenstrual tension syndrome, perimenopausal syndrome, sub-health status, as well as obstetric diseases and puerperalism such as threatened abortion, maternal and child blood group incompatibility, intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, postpartum hypogalactia，postpartum subinvolution uterus.

Our milestone refers to scientific and healthy management and standardized diagnosis and treatment for gynecological endocrine diseases such as polycystic ovarian syndrome and infertility-related diseases through Chinese integrative medicine.

Chinese Integrative Medicine Department is one of the first national training centers of traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese integrative medicine of maternity and child health care, as well as the main faculty of teaching and research office of Chinese medicine of College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Zhejiang University. Our department undertakes the talent cultivation task oftraditional Chinese medicine of gynecology and TCM teaching task for Zhejiang University international students.

1.Research Direction

Our primary research direction contains standardized diagnosis and treatment for gynecological endocrine diseases such as polycystic ovarian syndrome and infertility-related diseases through Chinese integrative medicine.

Chinese Integrative Medicine Department is one of the first national training centers of traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese integrative medicine of maternity and child health care of.12 staff have served as members of the national academic professional committee. Department director Fan Quis the winner of the Zhejiang Province Science Fundfor Distinguished Young Scholars, is granted as Outstanding Talent ofHealth Care of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Province “151” Distinguished Scholar，Outstanding Young Investigator of Chinese Integrative Medicine, the Golden Plaque in 11th European Congress of Integrative Medicine Ecim 2018, and the executive director of the national training center of maternity and child health care of traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese integrative medicine; deputy director of two national academic professional committees, director of one provincial academic professional committee, and deputy director of three provincial academic professional committees; leader of over 15 projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China, Zhejiang Province Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars; publisher of more than 86 SCI papers; winner of National Scientific and Technological Prize of China (2nd rank)(5/10),three projects won Maternal and Children’s Health Scientific and Technological Prize of China (1st Rank) 1/15;2/15;3/15)，one project won Traditional Chinese Medicine Scientific and Technological Prize of Zhejiang Province (2^ndRank)(2/9)，one project won Academic Award of Natural Science of Zhejiang Province (3rd Rank)(1/4)，Traditional Chinese Medicine Scientific and Technological Prize of Zhejiang Province (2nd Rank)for two terms (1/9;3/9)，Scientific and Technological Prize of China Association of Chinese Medicine (2nd rank)(7/10)，Young Investigator’s Award of America(1/1); Owner of 20 national invention patents.
