Department Introduction

Reproductive endocrinology unit 3 was established in 2014 and now has 50 beds. The first director is Dr. Dan-Zhang. The current department head is Dr. Yan-jun Hu, Head nurse: Zhang Fang. There are more than 30 medical staffs who are dedicated to providing high-quality and efficient medical services for patients. Our unit adheres to the medical concept of “Patient first” and provides quality and efficient medical services.

The unit has a group of young and middle-aged medical staff who are interested in reproductive medicine, and are mainly good at the treatment of recurrent abortion / repeated embryo transfer failure, surgical treatment and follow-up pregnancy guidance of patients with moderate or severe intrauterine adhesions, and laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery closely related to infertility.

Recurrent abortion and repeated embryo transfer failure are the two major problems in reproductive medicine today. Under the leadership of the director of the department, all medical and nursing staff continuously learn advanced theory to carry out the etiological screening for the above-mentioned patients, pay attention to the comprehensive situation of the patients, and work out individualized treatment plans according to the patients’ different conditions, especially with rich experience in diagnosis and treatment of multiple adverse pregnancy patients with endocrine, metabolic and immune disorders.

In our unit, another specialty is hysteroscopic surgery, especially for intrauterine adhesions, and nearly 50% cases of hysteroscopic surgery are TRCA( Transcervical resection of adhesion). The department has its own unique specialty in the operation of intrauterine adhesion patients, perioperative management, and postoperative promotion of comprehensive management of fertility. We customize effective and reasonable treatment for patients with intrauterine adhesions to ensure they receive individualized diagnosis and treatment. In the post-operative follow-up treatment and comprehensive management, except routine treatment, there are more treatment of reproductive endocrine and recurrent miscarriage. After repairing the uterine, we have series programs to promote fertility for severity uterine adhesion, and we excel in improving fertility for thin endometrium. 

Intrauterine Adhesion Clinic

In our unit, a special intrauterine adhesion clinic was opened in February 2018 to provide better postoperative fertility guidance and a seamless link to assisted reproductive technology for patients with intrauterine adhesions.

Minimally Invasive Laparoscopy

Our unit is also dedicated to providing the minimally invasive laparoscopy to preserve the female reproductive function, including the endometriosis, hydrosalpinx, miscellaneous ovarian cyst, uterine myoma, etc. Once you have the above diseases and also have reproduction requirement, we would be the optimum selection.
