The University of British Columbia (UBC) is a global centre for teaching, learning and research, consistently ranked among the top 20 public universities in the world. The UBC Faculty of Medicine ranks among the world’s top medical schools. UBC enjoys a high reputation in the world, with many disciplines such as biology ranking first in the world, among which obstetrics and gynecology have advantages in clinical and scientific research. In February 2012, WHZJU signed a memorandum of understanding with the department of obstetrics and gynecology of the University of British Columbia. In September 2018, the two sides renewed the cooperation agreement.
