Dr. Luo Qiong is the vice president of Women’s Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, in charge of medical technology, external liaison, international exchanges and cooperation, pair assistance.

She received her bachelor degree in clinical medicine from Zhejiang University in 2002. And she studied Hokkaido University for one year as visiting scholar in 2003. In 2007, she received her doctor degree in obstetrics and gynecology. In the same year, she worked in Women’s Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, engaged in clinical, scientific research and teaching work. She is experienced in diagnosis and treatment of obstetric related diseases, especially prenatal diagnosis, fetal abnormalities diagnosis and treatment, recurrent abortion and premature birth diagnosis and treatment. She has presided over 10 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published more than 40 international high-quality papers and 2 books. In addition, she won the second prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award. Up to now, she has presided over and participated in more than 10 national invention and utility model patents.  

Dr. Luo is committee young member of Obstetric Group of Obstetrics and Gynecology branch of Chinese Medical Association, committee members of China Maternal and child health care association family reproductive health, committee member of Specialized Committee of birth defects prevention and control genetics branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, committee member of the panel prenatal diagnosis Quality Control Center of Zhejiang Province. She serves as the reviewer for BMC Medical Education, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Journal, Archives of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, etc.
