Bio:
Dr. Luo Qiong is vice president of Women’s Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University.
Education Background
She received her bachelor's degree in clinical medicine from Zhejiang University in 2002. In 2003, she studied at Hokkaido University for one year as a visiting scholar. In 2007, she obtained her doctoral degree in obstetrics and gynecology.
Academic Achievements
Dr. Luo has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of obstetric-related diseases, particularly in prenatal diagnosis, management of fetal abnormalities, recurrent abortion, and preterm birth.
She has presided over 10 research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published more than 40 international high-quality papers and authored two books. In addition, she was awarded the second prize of the Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award.
To date, she has led or participated in the development of more than 10 national invention and utility model patents.
She also serves as a reviewer for several academic journals, including BMC Medical Education, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Journal, and Archives of Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
