Bio:
Dr. Cheng Xiaodong is the executive vice president of Women’s Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University. He has been selected for Zhejiang Province’s Leading Health Talent Development Program, serves as director of the Zhejiang Key Laboratory of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine for Reproductive Health, and deputy director of the Zhejiang Key Laboratory of Precision Diagnosis and Therapy for Major Gynecological Diseases.
Since 1992, he has been engaged in clinical and scientific research in gynecological oncology at Women’s Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University. In 2004, he was the visiting scholar at Royal Brisbane & Women's hospital gynecological oncology center in Queensland, Australia for further study.From 2018 to 2019, he was a Visiting Senior Scholar at the University of Western Australia (UWA), where he conducted research and academic exchange.
Dr. Cheng is the committee member of Chinese Society of Gynecological Oncology(CSGO) Chinese Medical Association, incoming chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association, the chairman of the Gynecologic Oncology Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association, a standing committee member of the Gynecologic Oncology Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO), the vice chairman of the Medical Equipment Committee of the China Medicine Education Association, and a standing committee member of Chinese Ovarian Cancer Society.
In recent years, Dr. Cheng has published more than 40 papers as corresponding author, he is in charge of 7 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and also serves as a key investigator in many projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial-level projects.
