<p style="line-height:150%"><span style="line-height: 150%; font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"></span></p><p style="line-height: 2em;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Dr. Zhang Dan is a professor/chief physician of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Zhejiang University School of Medicine,&nbsp;the executive vice&nbsp;president of Women’s Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, and the associate dean&nbsp;of Zhejiang University School of Medicine.&nbsp;She is the executive vice director&nbsp;of&nbsp;Key Laboratory of Reproductive Genetics (Ministry of Education), Zhejiang University, the director of Clinical Medical Research Center of Birth Defect Prevention and Control of Zhejiang Province, the vice director of Key Laboratory of Female Reproductive Health of Zhejiang Province, the director of the Pediatric Disease Clinical Research Center in Zhejiang Province, the vice director of the Key Laboratory of Female Reproductive Health in Zhejiang Province, and the director of Reproductive Genetics Center, Zhejiang University Medical Center.</span></p><p style="line-height: 2em;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">&nbsp;</span></p><p style="line-height: 2em;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Dr. Zhang Dan gained her master and Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University School of Medicine. She was the visiting scholar, clinical observer and research collaborator at Southampton University Hospital in 2011, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2016, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in 2017 and 2018.</span></p><p><br/></p><p style="line-height: 2em;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Dr. Zhang has dedicated herself to the clinical&nbsp;and basic science research of Ob/Gyn, especially in the field of reproductive science. She conducted cutting-edge research and applied her research into clinical practice for the sake of the health of the general population. Her main research fields include: Reproductive Health and Gamete and Embryo-Fetal Origins of Adult Disease, and Birth Defect Prevention. She is the principal&nbsp;investigator of National Key Research and Development Program of China, programs from National Natural Science Foundation of China, national level top-tier undergraduate courses, national teaching programs, and also programs from Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and Key Research and Development Program of Zhejiang Province. Dr. Zhang serves as the editor-in-chief of Premature Ovarian Insufficiency published by People&#39;s Medical Publishing House, the associate editor of Practice of Human Assisted Reproductive Technology. She also participated in writing/editing Chinese and English books and&nbsp;clinical guideline/consensus in China. She was awarded national patents. She has more than 70 peer-reviewed papers published in journals such as&nbsp;Nano Today, Aging Cell, Molecular Aspects of Medicine, Human Molecular Genetics, Journal of Genetics and Genomics, Human Genetics, JAMA Network Open, Environmental Pollution, New England Journal of Medicine, and Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine. She is the leading scientist of the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Awards of Zhejiang Province, the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Awards of Ministry of Education, and also the First Prize of China Maternal and Child Health Science and Technology Achievement Award. She is the editor of high-impact journals including Frontiers in Endocrinology and&nbsp;journal of practical obstetrics and gynecology.
