Zhejiang Medical Key Discipline Supporting Discipline Construction Team (Obstetrics)

Overview:

Based on Maternal-fetal Medicine Center of Zhejiang, Obstetrics Research Construction Team offers specialized clinics including re-pregnancy counseling, complex twins management, external version, recurrent miscarriage, preterm labor management, gestational diabetes, etc. We carry out universal screening and comprehensive management of congenital metabolic diseases, and work to promote them to all hospitals in Zhejiang Province. We have also established remote monitoring and risk stratification system for high-risk fetus.

The team places a strong emphasis on scientific research and talent team construction. There are seven consultants and twelve associate consultants in the team, including one Ph.D. supervisor and five Master supervisors. Currently we have 4 doctoral students and 20 master students, with 15 Ph.D. and over 100 masters already graduated. We actively attend international and domestic academic conferences, and send young doctors abroad for further study. So far, our team has launched more than 20 national and provincial projects, with the total research funds reaching to over 10 million RMB. We have been awarded with 4 national and provincial scientific and technological progress awards, and 5 departmental scientific and technological progress awards.
