Introduction of Women's Health Care Department
Overview
Department of Women’s Health Care is the main department of preventive medicine in hospital. Its mission is to promote and improve the reproductive health of women in Zhejiang Province from the three-level prevention. Currently the department is divided into five sections according its mission:

Health Education Section
LEARN MOREThe section is committed to providing health education for patients. Antenatal health education for pregnant women and other health education clubs regarding menopause health, HPV vaccine consultation are carried out regularly. Consulting Hotline runs all work days. We also edit all kinds of pamphlet for women’s life cycle reproductive health.

Maternal and Children Health Information Section
LEARN MOREThe section is responsible for maternal and children health surveillances, maternal & child health annual statistics and the management of Birth Certificate.

Project and Research Management Section
LEARN MOREThe section undertakes the management of the project and research of the department. Currently, we are responsible for three major projects.

Women’s Health Clinics and Family Planning Section
LEARN MOREWe provide outpatient clinics including: adolescence health, menopause clinics, psychological consulting, nutrition consulting, contraceptive consulting, premarital and preconception care, occupation health clinics, cancer screening (cervical and breast).

Women’s Public Healthcare Section
LEARN MOREWomen’s Public Healthcare Section provides life-cycle preventive health services to improve the health and wellbeing of all women across the Zhejiang province. We carry out researches on main diseases related to women’s health with the aim of reducing the morbidity and mortality of women’s diseases. We also cooperate with Health Commission of Zhejiang Province in developing various health policies regarding women’s health.
