Introduction of Nursing Department

With the aim of building an innovative, research-based and vigorous hospital which enjoys international reputations, our nursing team is dedicated to the combination of clinical care and scientific research, making full use of the characteristics and expertise of obstetrics and gynecology nursing, and improving the development of clinical nursing specialists. The Nursing Department is the chair unit of the first midwifery branch of the Chinese Maternal and Child Health Association, the professional nursing committee of Obstetric, Gynecologic and Assistant reproductive technology (ART) of Zhejiang Nurse Association, and the deputy chair unit of the Professional Committee of Gynecology of Chinese Nursing Association. The hospital also owns one national level standardized training base for midwives which is one of the earliest in China, and four provincial-level training bases for clinical nursing specialists including maternal-infant nursing, gynecological nursing, ART nursing and neonatal nursing. We have established nursing standard in perinatal care, assisted reproduction technology, prevention of women diseases, and rehabilitation of female pelvic floor, leading and promoting the development of obstetrics and gynecology nursing of the whole province even the country.
