Introduction of Radiology Department

Founded in the 1950s, Radiology Department of Women’s Hospital School of Medicine Zhejiang University has gradually developed into a well-known and technologically advanced medical imaging center of obstetrics and gynecology in China through the efforts of several generations. It is committed to undertaking the medical, teaching and scientific research tasks and providing the imaging diagnosis and treatment for outpatients and inpatients of the hospital. 

 Radiology department has an experienced technical team consisting of more than 20 medical staff, among which 4 members are chief radiologists, 1 has doctor’s degree and 5 have masters’ degree. Currently, Radiology Department is equipped with one set of advanced GE 16-row spiral CT, one set of 1.5 T GE MR, 3 sets of DR and mobile DR, 1 set of Shimadzu digital gastrointestinal machine, 2 sets of mammography X-ray machine of the breast and 1 world-advanced Siemens large plate DSA. We have basically formed a modern medical imaging system featuring complete and advanced equipment, reasonable personnel echelon and distinctive professional advantages, striving to make our department reach the leading level in the field of imaging diagnosis and interventional treatment of obstetrics and gynecology.
