Introduction of General Gynecology Department
The Department of General Gynecology at WHZJU is dedicated to providing comprehensive and expert gynecologic care for patients who come to us from within the province, and across the country. We a faculty of more than 120, and the clinical and research team lead the way in many aspects of general gynecology, including minimal invasive surgery, enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS), long-term treatment and follow-up for patients with endometriosis and adenomyosis, gynecological endocrine related diseases—especially abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic floor dysfunctional diseases, female genital malformation, etc.

Gynecology Unit 1
Gynecology Unit 1 of Women’s Hospital, with 51 beds, is a pioneer of gynecologic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in the Zhejiang Province. Our excellent faculty members, with total number of more than 30, are renowned for their expertise in providing advanced health care for women.

Gynecology Unit 2
Gynecology Unit 2 has a faculty of more than thirty, including 15 doctors and 17 nurses. We have 51 beds and the admitted patients are about 3000 per year from all over the country. Our clinical and research team has leading superiority in many aspects in general gynecology, including minimal invasive surgery, long-term treatment and follow-up for patients with endometriosis and adenomyosis, standard and comprehensive therapy for patients with chronic pelvic pain, etc. Gynecology Unit 2 has earned its reputation as the only and the largest ward specialized in endometriosis in China by:

Gynecology Unit 3
Founded in January 2015, Gynecology Unit 3 consists of the unit 3 ward and the Gynecologic Endocrinology outpatient clinic..Currently, the department has a strong medical team consisting of17 doctors (including 5 senior doctors and 10 intermediate-level doctors) and 14 nurses.

Gynecology Unit 4
Gynecology Unit 4, also named as Pelvic Floor Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center (PFDDTC), is composed of Pelvic Floor Surgery Ward (51 beds, located at Building 2, 13th floor), Pelvic Floor Specialist Clinic and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Area. It has totally 13 regular doctors, 24 registered nurses, including 3 master supervisors and 5 senior level consultants. It also has undergraduate and master medical students, junior training doctors, visiting doctors, etc.
